Woman tries to break up marriage

Police: Woman Used Internet To Break Up Marriage:
That headline should really say she used the internet to try and break up their marriage but I’m getting ahead of myself.

34-year-old Pilar Stofega of Uncasville, Conn. tried to disrupt the marriage of an old flame by posting fake profiles of her ex-beau’s current wife on adult websites. The postings contained the wife’s home and work phone numbers.

Stofega said she did to it “to be vindictive, knowing that the profiles would create marital problems between” the victim and her husband, according to court documents.

Except it didn’t. The husband was able to his own sleuthing and found out where the fake postings came from. Apparently Ms. Stofega didn’t count on a married couple that actually trusted each other.
