Woman reconciles with husband..WHO TRIED TO SET HER ON FIRE

by Trench on December 22nd, 2007

Wife Reunites With Latrobe Man Accused Of Trying To Kill Her:
Denise Valasko reconciled with her husband James Valasko of Latrobe, Pennsylvania. That would be heartwarming just in time for the Christmas season if it wasn’t for the fact that Mr. Valasko is on trial for trying to set Mrs. Valasko and her daughter on fire.

Police said James Valasko, 51, of Latrobe, pulled out a knife and lighter fluid while arguing with his wife and Hill at a home on Raymond Avenue on Oct. 7.

The two women left, but returned a short time later to gather some belongings. That’s when, police said, Valasko hit Hill with a chair and put lighter fluid on both women and tried to set them on fire.

Police said Valasko tried smothering his wife with a blanket. When her daughter tried helping her escape, police said he doused them with lighter fluid and tried setting them on fire with his cigarette lighter.

They said he then threw a paper towel soaked with lighter fluid into Hill’s car and lit it on fire.

When the women tried to run, police said Valasko wrestled Hill to the ground, wiping another lighter fluid-soaked paper towel on her face and nearly igniting it until her friend kicked him off.

Why in the blue hell would she even think about going back to him. We’ve all seen relationships where the woman keeps going back to an abusive man but this is to the extreme.

She must be in her 20’s or 30’s.

fyi, there is much more to the story than what is being told. denise and her daughter are not innocent victims. is anyone aware of the lead pipe that was brought to the house? didn’t think so. get your facts straight before you judge.
