Wife shopped around for killer, court papers say:
No your eyes have not deceived you. Chris Farley has not come back from the dead. That lovely diva at right is 46-year-old Mary Lucretia Gates from the Baltimore area. She was arrested for trying to hire a hitman to kill her husband Kevin Gates and his children. Turns out the hitman she tried to hire was an undercover officer. D’oh!
Both men described an incident in late summer, when she allegedly accused Russell Gates of hurting his younger sister, a middle school student.
Kevin Gates said his wife “insisted I kick him out of the house because he was a threat to my daughter.” But he refused because “I knew she was lying.”
“From there, it just went straight downhill,” he said. “When I took my son’s side, it got directed toward me as well.”
About a month ago, Gates said, a neighbor told him that Mary Gates had asked about having her husband and stepson killed.
She was after Kevin Gates’ $350K life insurance policy.
Kevin Gates went to police who set up a sting.
Mary Gates met twice on Tuesday with an undercover trooper she thought was a hit man, according to court records. They agreed that the killing would be “made to look like a robbery” and that “her husband was going to be shot in the head,” police said in court documents. “She was not concerned whether there would be an open or closed casket at the funeral.”
That’s cold.

In referance to the carroll county case the following facts must be stated. I am the 1st wife of kevin gates AND the mother of the kids. fact 1. mary gates is MARY Lucretia bennett. she was hired by PRINCE GEORGES COUNTY SCHOOLS by falsifieddocuments concealed a criminal history. she worked with special needs kids many kids were victims including my child. the bd. of ed failed to follow standard hiring practice and caused the damages to atleast 25 victims. since the bd knew but did nothing We can now speak. ASK Carroll county delegate nancy stocksdale wihy no one protected the kids four over a year. ask george butler from carroll county states attorney why he didnt start the drug investigation in 2003 of which the evidence could have prevented the death of at least one kid. ask the judges why drug trafficers get a free ride while thekids get locked up. Its obvious that kids dont have the right to equal protection

The real issue in carroll county is not about wife attempting to hire a hitman to kill husband but its about the fact that protective service has still failed to achieve the basic goals that were sited by 2004 dept of human resources investigation. REFER to carroll county times archive. recent reports show that kevin gates knew several months prior to the event but had no concern for the safety of his kids. until he was threatened. how can a man allow his kids to be abused and do nothing. since police reports dated may 16 2004 told ofprobable abuse at a different address by the same woman under a different name. Mary and i had problems for a few years she commited identity theft on many occasions because she always wanted her own kids i always remained rebellius and she always tried to get dad to kick me out we never agreed about anything she always criticized the way dad brought me up i tried to tell people how evil and vindictive she is but no one ever listened not even my school

I AM FAMILAR WITH THE GATES FAMILY, I WAS MARRIED TO KEVIN GATES SISTER AT ONE TIME. I KNOW LITTLE ABOUT THIS MARY WOMAN, HOWEVER I DO KNOW ABOUT HIS FIRST WIFE, SHE TRYED ON MANY OCCASSIONS TO GET HELP FOR THE KIDS, ESPICALLY RUSTY, BUT NO ONE WOULD HELP HER. ALL I EVER SAW WAS THE LEGAL SYSTEM DOING EVERYTHING THEY COULD TO MAKE THE FIRST WIFE HAVE A FINANCIAL HARDSHIP AND KEEP HER FROM GETTING ANYONE TO LISTEN. THEY HAVE DENIED HER HELP ON MANY OCCASSIONS. WILL SOMONE HELP THE WOMAN.

Update mary has been going around talking to inmates trying to get my me my father my mother and my neighbors killed The police have however caught onto this so I dont think that she will be able to get out anytime soon My email is darkdepresseddragon@yahoo.com email me with any questions you may have concerning this matter Oh and by the way do to these events I am not allowed back in school because I skipped for a lil over a month to escape from constant questions I speak to people like you so that you can answere the questions no one likes being bothered 24/7 over the same bullshit at least with emails I can take a lil brake from the questions.

Reading your post. I see the former uncle, mother and especially the son are fucked up. Why would you all be on the news, posting comments on the website, and think this is ok. You might as well make some money off this and go on a talk show like Jerry Springer.

going on talk shows will not help the problem we only state the facts, and the fact of the matter is that she got off way too easily she was sentenced to only five years, for those of you that seek justice you obviously wont find it here
