Ex-Husband Charged In Baseball Bat Beating Death:
Brent Douglas Stephens of Carrolton, Texas has been arrested in the baseball bat beating death of his ex-wife Denise Stephens.
Stephens waited outside of his wife’s place of employment and when she arrived she beat her to death with a baseball bat. Denise Stephens was the mother of three children who now have no parents.
Being the coward that he is Stephens perched himself on an I-35 overpass threatening to kill himself. Stephens did not go through with his obvious hollow threat.
To make matters worse Denise Stephens had a restraining order against her ex-husband which as usual did her no good. The only type of people that would follow a restraining order are usually the ones you would never need to get one against.
As one of Denise Stephen’s family put it the system failed her.

This should be a lesson to all people (especially women) that are pushed to the point of needing a restraining order. Obviously….its a pretty useless gesture. I would recommend that on your way to get your restraining order, stop and buy a gun or at least apply for your permit to get one because until your antagonist actually hurts or kills you, you are on your own. This guy broke into her house and vandalized her car AFTER she got the restraining order. He even admitted to breaking into her house to the police and they STILL did nothing.
My daughter goes to school with these kids. They are now living with the dead woman’s mother. For all intents and purposes, they are now orphans.

Failed Issue

OMG this is so sad. My heart goes out to these children. This is what I fear most about an ex-b/f from 4 yrs ago. He’s been stalking harassing and threatening me since 2004. I filed for a RO but was denied. He retaliated and filed one against me for no reason at all. The commissioner stated “RO’s are not good for society” … now this stalking gun-toting freak had broken into my home, used my credit cards, claimed false harassemnt of ME! and the cops will only believe him. He has now 4 RO’s filed against him, 2 by an ex-wife who now stands by his side because we are not together, claiming she made up all her allegations of abuse against him. She’s helping him get back at me cause it will keep us apart. This stalker has keys to my building and apt. He will not return them. Judge Deborah B. Andrews of the LB court refuses to make him give them up, he is after all HER VICTIM. These people make me sick. so what now? Do I have to end up in this same situation before these idoits listen to what a lying wife beater this guy really is? Did I mention this guy has a friend on the force? he’s been helping him get away with his false accusations for over a year now. It’s corrupt in the LBC. And it’s a scary place to live if you have a Psycho X
