Teacher takes advantage of special needs student

But not just any student, 33-year-old Christina Lin Butler had a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old, special needs student at Middleton High School in Tampa, Florida.
She joined Middleton’s faculty at the start of this school year and taught students considered “educable,” meaning they are the least affected of those classified as mentally disabled. The students have a degree of mental retardation and may exhibit judgment problems.
So not only did she take advantage of a teen who is young an impressionable but also one who may have poor judgment. We’ve got teacher of the year material written all over this one.
She was caught the same way all these female teachers are caught. Teen boys can’t keep their mouth shut.
It seems that when the teen and a bunch of his friends were pulled over driving Butler’s car, with no license I may add, one of them blurted out where the car came from and what relationship the teen had with the teacher.
To make matters worse she was suspended with pay. I guess teachers are like police in that way. What do you have to do to get suspended without pay?
