Mayor who lied about affair is charged with 8 felonies:
Detroit’s Mayor, Kwame Kilpatrick, is in a lot of hot water because of an alleged affair he had with his chief of staff, Christine Beatty.

It seems that two cops were fired for almost stumbling on the affiar which led to a multi million dollar lawsuit against the city which led to eight felony obstruction of justice charges against Mayor Kilpatrick.

The Detroit City Council is calling for Kilpatrick’s resignation but he promises to fight on.

I love it how every politician thinks they’re the one who will get away with it this time.

Mayor Kilpatrick I’d like to introduce you to Ex-Governor Spitzer, Ex-President Clinton, Ex-Senator Hart, etc.
