Mom: Police Told Daughter To Stop Calling Before Murder-Suicide:
Police in DeLand, Florida are under fire after they told a stalking victim to stop calling or she’ll be arrested.
Natasha Hall was shot and killed by ex-boyfriend Clay Coffner then Coffner turned the gun on himself.
Hall’s mother Sherry said “The police officer said if you call us one more time on him, I’m going to arrest you both,” Sherry Hall said. “So, the day she died, she knew she couldn’t talk to police. So, she handled it herself.”
Michele Karpowicz said everyone noticed the warning signs before the homicide — except police.
“I was going crazy,” Hall’s best friend said. “He was psycho, jealous and abusive.”
This is why murder-suicides and domestic violence haven’t been curbed over the decades. If police don’t take it seriously who will?

As a former member of law enforcement - I am ashamed of this result. If the posting is correct the members involved should be held accountable.
Law Enforcement is there to PROTECT and SERVE. It should never be a “bother” to help someone regardless of the number of times they call.

Ms. Henderson, I am a victim of the same although in my case the police have actually supported my stalkers in following me across the country and ID theft as well. They supported total embezzlement, sexual harassment of my son, arranged a beating or two on him as well as when the Police Chief’s friends set off my alarm - told me I would get the ticket. My stalking started in 2001 - it’s still happening all the way in Portland, OR where they moved a group stalking game to continue it. How sad is that? Make it someone else’s problem. I’ve been told they will do this to me the rest of my life because I owned what they didn’t and have intelligence, attorney’s get chased away by his politicians. Wonderful thing for taxpayers - all to protect a known sex offender that was peeking in my windows, breaking into my home —- I guess that is why his indigent friendships live for free and don’t work. Scarey to see the result - but I’ve been told that they do want me dead so they feel better. Nice - and no I am not nor ever have been mentally ill.
