No new grand jury for ex-beauty queen in kidnapping, robbery:
Our favorite mugshot producing ex-Arizona ‘beauty’ queen is back in the news again.

Kumari Fulbright and all her cohorts have been denied their request to have another grand jury look at their case.

If you’re new to the site Fulbright and her associates, Robert Arthur Ergonis, 45; David Wayne Radde, 44; and Larry Bruce Hammond, 40, stand accused of kidnapping Fulbright’s ex-boyfriend and ‘torturing him. It’s alleged that the ex stole thousands of dollars in jewelry from Fulbright to pay off a drug debt so don’t feel too sorry for him.

Anyway the defense accused the prosecution of withholding evidence that would supposedly show that Fulbright did not take part in the crime. The judge agreed with the prosecution that the evidence in question should be something for a jury to consider.

What I still find amazing about this trial is that Fulbright was allowed to leave Arizona to move to Texas. I would almost lay odds that as soon as it looks like she might do jail time she’ll take off. That’s just my speculation.
