Murder Victims Mother doesn’t Hate Murderer

Jessie Davis’ mother wants people to know that she doesn’t hate Bobby Cutts Jr., the ex-boyfriend and accused killer of her daughter. Patricia Porter made a promise to God to forgive the responsible person for the death of her daughter and apparently she says she has done just that.

According to police reports, Davis was murdered in her Ohio home on June 14. She was reported missing on the following day and her body was found a week later in a park about 25 miles away from her home. Davis, who was pregnant, was found with her fetus in tact.

Former police officer and boyfriend of Davis, Bobby Cutts Jr was charged with two counts of murder. Cutts Jr was not only the boyfriend of Davis he was also the father of both of her children. Despite this, Porter states that she does not want to hate anyone, not even the murderer of her daughter.

Porter was interviewed on Monday night, where she said, “If God can’t forgive Bobby Cutts, then he can’t forgive any of us.” I think what Porter fails to realize is that we aren’t all murderers. I do give her credit though, as I imagine the hardest thing anyone would ever have to do would be to forgive the murderer of a loved one.

The surviving child of Davis and Cutts, 2 ½ year old Blake is currently living with Porter. The couple’s second child would have been born July 3. Blake was the one to initially help investigators with clues to what happened. The child was found alone in a soiled diaper a day after Davis’ murder. When found, Blake informed investigators, “Mommy was crying. Mommy broke the table. Mommy’s in the rug.”

The current cause of death is still being determined by medical examiners. Earlier this month, Cutts waived the rights to a preliminary hearing. He is currently being held on a $5 million bond. Porter said that she felt Bobby and his family deserved prayers.
