Man who chained girlfriend to engine sentenced

Utah Man Gets Up to Five Years in Prison for Tethering Girlfriend to Engine With Dog Chain:
Back in December I posted about Fernando Orozco-Trevizo of Utah who kept his girlfriend chained to engine block for three weeks in his apartment. The room she was kept in could be locked on both sides of the door and he beat her repeatedly.

In his defense Orozco-Trevizo’s attorney claimed that the victim asked to be chained in order to show her devotion.

Anyway Orozco-Trevizo has been sentenced to 5 years behind bars. Only 5 years. Is this really the type of man we want to allow back into society?
