Digirolamo Child to Remain in Foster Care

If you read my earlier post about the love triangle/double life of Rosario Digirolamo, you might be wondering what happened to little Michael, the child of Amy Giordano (currently missing) and Rosario Digirolamo, who hopped a plane to Italy the day after her disappearance and has not been seen since.

Giordano disappeared on June 7. At this point, the very worst has to be assumed. She has not been in contact with anyone nor has she used any credit cards. Rosario Digirolamo, who is Michael’s father, also has another child around the same age. The difference between the two is that the other child lives with Digirolamo’s current wife. Digirolamo, who worked as a computer analyst paid the rent for his lover, who lived about nine miles away from his family home.However, soon after Amy disappeared, young Michael was placed on the curb of the parking lot at the Christiana Hospital. This was right before Daddy hopped a plane to Italy. While the ticket was round trip, Digirolamo has never returned from Italy and is believed to be in Sicily.

Meanwhile, Michael who is about to turn one, is in foster care. This adorable young child will remain in foster care, according to a Judge’s orders. Later this year, a movement will be made to terminate parental rights and an adoptive home will be sought for young Michael. No family on either side attended the hearing.
