  You know what, everyone needs to shut the hell up about Brittany. She was, and still is, my friend. She came to my party, i have pictures taken with her, we spent halloween together. she is sweet, she is kind, and I want to know HER goddamned opinion about why she did this. Until we hear that, shut the hell up. I know that this was not to get back at tom, and this was not just about love. It flows deeper.

  Sweet girls do not ask a guy they hardly know to bludgeon to death a young lady that they are jealous of. Get real. Brittany, for whatever reason, decided she wanted Krista killed. Unfortunately she hooked up with a young man that was some how devoid of human emotions and agreed that he would be the man. No compassion for Brittany from me. Not one ounce. Dustin has a screww loose, evidently. How absolutely devasting this to all the families involved. These were seemingly normal kids. Dustin comes from a wealthy family for the area. Very well known in the community. He is a strange dude, imo. Had brain surgery a few years back to remove a tumor. Major brain surgery. Never went back to school after that, just worked at his father’s theater in town.

  I am not saying it is excusable. At all. Period. What I am saying is that all of the news reports that I am reading fail to mention how much of a bitch Krista was, and how much she goaded and messed with Brittany’s mind. Not that she should have killed her for it, but still. I always like to hear the sides of both the demon and the angel before I say which is which.

Michelle… life is a bitch and if we all went around killing or plotting to kill all of those that are bitchy to us or not meeting our emotional needs then hey! 1) we certainly wouldnt have a population crisis and 2) we would live in a complete state of paranoa. May be I should send this around to everyone in Madera as I am sure they all know who you are and while I’m at it I’ll hand a copy to the police and you school because evidently you too lack skills in judgement and are emotionally void or unstable. And while we’re talking about “informing the police” im sure they would love to hear tales of your threats and harrassment. If you had bothered to actually read my posts, you would see that I DO NOT agree with brittanys methods, but my whole point was that they aren’t saying both sides. Please actually read both sides before you make assumptions, accusations, or otherwise rude remarks.

  Hmmm! Go right ahead to the police because I have made no threats towards you that warrant any criminal act. You talk about 2 sides, what 2 sides are those???? Lets see!! The side of the media and those that knew the victim(s) and your friend Brittany whom I’m sure has filled your head with her woes on love and being DUMPED.
  I certainly hope you dont agree with you friends methods and I would be think before you say much more because if your friend stated to you that she wished harm upon the victim and you said nothing then legally you can be charged with culpability. Now for the final point: you talk about insult and harrassment.hmmm! YOU first wrote the blog telling everyone to SHUT THE HELL UP! That lil girl is an insult you then went on to call the victim a BITCH your words not mine, that is insensitive and a form of harrassment. This is a public domain, if you cant take feed back based on your comments due to matuity levels then maybe you should not say anything. Your friend will be going away for a very long time if not life and in a few years you will have moved on with your life ( hopefully) and Brittany will mean nothing. Society is harsh and being assossiated to certain people can really have a hinderence on ones life. If you have a side to state and want it to be known then I would suggest telling us and if you want the media the other side, you came full force with threats and aggression, not anyone else. I also believe that there are 2 sides to any story so tell us: what is the other side if there is one.

  O.k I’ll SHUT UP because DOGG (WOOF) told me to..lmao. Of course Michelle can say what she wants, this is a public domain. But I see Michelle needs someone to back her up. I guess you are really in tune with the law, are you taking criminology in your sophmore year???? Reverse the place and time to be served. If Brittany is lucky she will serve 2 - 5 yrs CYA if she is a good girl and then 9 in state prison. If she is Lucky she may get a 15 yr sentence serve 5 - 7 with good behaviour, who knows….. non of us really know her side. Obviously the DA does or a large portion of it to slam her with as many charges as they have. I personally think ( although the crime was unimaginable) that Brittany was not fully aware of the ramifications and consequences all of this would serve. I also think she was emotionally desperate and at that age when you are in love it can mean it is the end of the world when you are jilted. However, it legally cant excuse what was done. I think Gran is an evil sociopath and to torture the way thatis being stated is just pure evil. This guy should never be let free. One thing I learnt and I may be wrong as it is hear say but apparently what Brittany has stated is that she was the one that called Krista and wanted to be friends and arranged the trip to the mall. I dont know why Krista or her boyfriend agreed but unfortunatly this is where Brittany has landed further charges because it was a set up ( lying in wait) etc. I think there is more as Michelle has said that will come out, however, everyone is entitled to their opinion and noone needs to be told to shut up. Not that it really bothers me, I just put it down to silly teen jargon that is used as they are not mature enough to express their feelings or confusion in any other form.

  I’m sorry for you loss also Dustin if you were still friends. As someoneone who was close to Krista can you tell Michelle what she was like? as michelle evidently has a negative view of Krista, probably didnt know her just has gone by what one ofthe perptrators has said.

  Oh and for all who have stated SHUT UP to us have you read the most recent news on what actually happened and how ” sweet Brittany” played her part in texting Gran from telling him what to do and then getting a photo of the aftermath. Also Brittany stated to Gran according to a friend of Brittanys who will appear in courtfor the prosecution that she had stated she wanted Krista dead. Now how sweet of a girl is that. SICKLY SWEET AS ARSNIC .THe girl is a sociopath,After I read how she manipulated and wanted to not only kill but torture my mind has been set that Brittany is evil and will serve life.

  boy hello..i am with you..when i heard about how she sat in school texting gran, my blood ran cold!! i have followed this case form day one…i saw both there myspace profiles before they were stripped down..not good!! there is NO excuse michelle can come up with to justify what brittany has done!! ok ok i know there are cimes of passion when some people just lose it and have killed, but to sit and quietly and calmly and articulatly plan out this horrific crime, i know this girl is a danger to anyone that crosses her path!! she says so herself..I only wish someone, anyone had given krista a heads up of the wrath that awaited her..I just wonder if she ever had a “gut” feeling, but didnt say anything?? anyway we look at it now, its the same outcome..sad sad and more sad!! I do not think brittany will see daylight anywhere in the near future..with such a dark page on myspace, did her parents not see this? anyone?   Dave is so right. I feel very much for all the families, how inconceivable that your child could do this as well as how this could happen to your child. It also saddens me how a 16 year old could throw her life away, yet she still has what is left of her life unlike Krista.

  hi hello…lol..i think that is butch you are referring too…i think he meant to type bunch..i was just being a bitch kinda..for no damn good reason..other than people dont understand..we as humans are disturbed by this story and need to vent..and talk because it is just so hard to fathom and undrstand how one of us could do this to another in our own species…and now have to lock another of our own for doing this ..there is no other species that cages their own..and it is sad and unfortunate that some people just dont understand!   Brandy! Are you suggesting that I am in support of Brittany???? As I am the one above you and noone is below you. If you are then you are very wrong. Also, as angry as you maybe you dont have to fire off at everyone else. My friends daughter was actually very good friends with Krista. So you see this does go beyond a single persons pain and anger. Brittany will get what is coming to her as will Dustin Gran. If she ever did get out I doubt she would be able to remain in the central valley but why throw your life away.

  oh my god. Michelle? you have NO idea what you’re saying…my sister OF ALL PEOPLE was the last person we ever thought to be killed. she was the most amazing sister and friend to EVERYONE. I saw this bitch in court today, she had little tears in her eyes and dustin had a whole LINE of stitches on his nose. i dont feel one OUNCE of remose for this heartless cunts. they took the life of an innocent child and it was all over a guy. Thomas is like my brother and i think he’s an awesome guy but i wouldnt KILL for him. I wouldnt kill brittany or dustin. i just dont have it in me. but i do have a body FULL of anger and pain that i could unleash on them verbally. i cant wait for the day i get to tell them all i want about what they took from me and my family. I still cant believe all this happened. its still processing in my mind. i hope to god, NO ONE goes through this kind of pain EVER! its absolutly horrible. i miss my sister so much. and michelle, one last thing, you dont know as much as i so about the case OK!? so dont go thinking lil miss brittany is oh so innocent!

  I understand. Obviously I was upset because I didn’t think anyone I knew could commit such a crime, and that was the night I had heard so obviously I knew nothing about the case. I didn’t even know the extent of what was done to that poor girl. So stop attacking me over it, im not stupid, and I don’t sympathize with killers, fools, and assholes. I didn’t know Krista personally, all I knew was all the things that a few of my friends said about her, and how brittany was telling me that Krista was calling her up and saying nasty things in a sort of “na na na boo boo” way. Brittany was obviously unstable and to do such haneous things and be so calm about it at school… God! I didn’t even know she disliked Krista! I remember exactly, she just said “Oh, Krista will just break his heart again (tom) and then he will come running back to me and I might take him back and I might not.” Nothing to suggest this was anything other than teenage rivalry! Obviously I was very incorrect as I have now heard that krista was very, very far from mean at all, let alone a bitch. I apologize, but honestly, stop jumping down my throat for my feeling opinionated at one given moment. Okay?

  Krista-Rae June Pike—She was Kind, Loving, Caring, FUN ALL AROUND! She always had a smile on her face. She was never sad, mad, jealous, or revengeful. She was friends with EVERYONE. When we were little, she was always playing “mommy”. All the way until she passed, she was mommy #2. Taking care of me, and leading me into the path I should take. She was a wonderful person. She had 2 dogs and a rat named Timpleton. =). She wanted to be a VET TECH like my oldest sister. Her laughter was contagious. She knew, and wrote down, every lyric to every song she knew. When she talked, you could hear her a mile away. She was always so caring to people, even when she didnt know them. She loved to dance. But her FAVORITE thing was singing!!! She was ALWAYS singing. lol. Krista and I shared a room for 15 years. Shared a school for 8 years. Everyone always called us “the twins”. We looked exactly alike. All but the eyes and her “marshmellow” cheeks. She was the best big sister anyone could ask for. She always wrote in journals too. About the day she was having, or her friends. I loved to just read it. I finally wrote her back and she read it. She wrote me back and put it in my backpack. A sentence from it said “I’ll always be with you in person, spirit, and mind”. It was almost like she was telling me. She always talked about getting an apartment and a job and a car for herself. She was anxious to take on responsibility. She spread happiness so quickly. She made friends with ALL the cliques. A beautiful person, woman, and being. Thomas ment the world to her. She wanted to marry him and have a family. She was happier than anyone i’d ever met in my life. I am so proud of the woman she’s become. She always had a stuffed animal in her arms though. Her favorite one was “dalmation”. The stuffed dog she got from my grandma on i believe her 13th birthday. She slept with it every night, like it were a pillow. She always called me “Ali-Gator”. At the vigil in Madera, People always came up and said that she had “saved their lives”. I wouldn’t even doubt it. My sister loved life. She would find a bumblebee in the house, and catch it in a cup, and put it outside. She wouldn’t swat with a fly swater. She was an amazing person and i dont think the day will ever come when it seems real.—R.I.P. Krista-Rae June Pike…I love you sissy.

  This is Samantha Pike, Krista Pikes older sister. I mostly have one thing to say. Michelle.. You have absolutly NO RIGHT to call my sister a bitch. She was kind to EVERYONE. No matter what. She was the sweetest girl with the gentlest soul. Why do you think she hung out with Brittany less than a week before that little bitch decided to have my sister killed? Krista had forgiven the mean things that brittany had said about her. Brittany was dumped! She should have gotten over it, like any NORMAL person would. And to answer peoples question about how long Krista and Thomas had been together.. They dated years ago for quiet some time. I’d say about 2 years they were together. Then when the enitre family moved North, they split due to the long distance. When Krista moved back a year later, they got back together. They were in love. They had always been in love. Thomas loved her like no other. Michelle, you are immature. One day you will grow up and realize that NO MATTER WHAT BRITTANY SAYS, she had absolutly no right to even concider taking the life of such a sweet and innocent girl. My sister was just starting her life. She was 18 for god sakes. Dustin and Brittany will both suffer for what theyve done.
